Cookies

Session cookies (used to remember whether you accepted this banner, for example) are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies — including our analytics identifier — are kept for a maximum of 180 days before they are refreshed or dropped. If you clear your browser cookies, every cookie set by this site is removed immediately; the next visit starts from a clean slate.

If we change which cookies are set, or add a new third-party category, we will update this page and reset the consent banner so you are asked again. The "last updated" line at the top of this page shows the most recent change. We will not add tracking cookies to kuki-muki.org silently.

Our affiliate click-outs via /enter/ can pass a cookie set by the destination operator — this is how the operator tells one visit apart from another. We do not control what the operator does with that cookie; the operator's own cookie policy applies as soon as you land on their domain. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or any ad-network tracker on this site.

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember you between visits (so you do not have to accept the same banner twice), to measure how pages are being used in aggregate, and in some cases to show you targeted content. Not every cookie is a tracking cookie — the one that remembers your consent choice, for example, exists so that we respect the choice you already made.

Strictly necessary: a single cookie that records your consent choice for this banner. Analytics: a Plausible identifier that counts page views in aggregate without exposing your individual identity. Preferences: a cookie that remembers whether you have dismissed non-essential overlays on review pages. No marketing cookies. No social-media cookies. No cross-site tracking.
