Each review carries a single overall score out of 10, calculated as a weighted average of six category scores. Each category score is itself an average of three to five numeric checks (for example: welcome bonus wagering of x25 or lower scores a 10, x30 scores a 7, x40 scores a 4, x50+ scores a 0). We publish the full weight table below so you can see exactly what pushed a score up or down.
Six categories: Bonuses (wagering, max cash-out, excluded games), Payments (min deposit, payout window, GBP support), Games (lobby size, provider mix, live hall), Sportsbook (markets covered, odds competitiveness, in-play depth), Mobile (native app vs mobile web, app store rating), Support (channels, hours, response time measured by us).
No scoring model captures everything. A score of 8.2 means the operator did well on our weighted average, not that it will suit you specifically. A reader who only plays live roulette should re-read the Live hall section, not the overall; a sports-only reader should read the Sportsbook section. The score is a starting point, not a verdict.
Bonuses 20%, Payments 20%, Games 20%, Sportsbook 15% (0% for casino-only operators, re-weighted to Games), Mobile 15%, Support 10%. Weights are the same across all reviews on the site — we do not re-weight to make a specific operator look better or worse.
Operator X: Bonuses 7.5, Payments 9.0, Games 8.0, Sportsbook 6.0, Mobile 8.5, Support 7.0. Weighted: 0.2 × 7.5 + 0.2 × 9.0 + 0.2 × 8.0 + 0.15 × 6.0 + 0.15 × 8.5 + 0.1 × 7.0 = 1.50 + 1.80 + 1.60 + 0.90 + 1.28 + 0.70 = 7.78. Rounded published score: 7.8/10.
