Principles
Three principles. First: honesty about affiliate relationships — every Play button on this site is an affiliate link, and the site is funded by operator commissions. Second: factual accuracy — every figure (wagering, min deposit, payout window, licence number) is verified against operator documentation before publication. Third: reader-first scoring — a bonus with hostile terms gets a lower score than a smaller bonus with fair terms, every time, regardless of the commission the operator pays us. We publish the commission structure in broad terms (CPA versus revenue share) on the methodology page; we do not publish specific per-operator rates because those are commercially confidential, but no rate on offer has ever been high enough to tilt a score.
Corrections
If we publish something wrong, we fix it on the page and add a visible correction note at the bottom of the page: what was wrong, when it was wrong, when it was fixed. We do not silently edit; we do not delete the page and pretend it never existed. Corrections raised by readers are credited (initials only unless the reader asks us to be named in full). Material corrections — ones that would have changed a reader's decision — are also noted at the top of the page in a highlighted strip for 30 days after the fix, so returning readers see the update.
Update cycle
Every review on this site is re-checked monthly. The last-checked date appears beside the H1. If a review's last-checked date is older than six weeks, the review is temporarily pulled from the homepage until it is refreshed; we would rather have a smaller index than stale pages. Where a check reveals no change, the date is updated but a note (Nothing changed since last check) is added so readers know a human looked rather than a bot touched the file.
Fact checking
Any factual claim on a review page points to a verifiable source: operator terms page, licence register entry, our own screenshotted test, or a public regulator statement. Claims we cannot source do not go on the page — we would rather leave a gap than fill it with a confident-sounding guess. Numerical claims (payout window, bonus percentage, maximum cash-out) are checked twice: once by the analyst at research stage, once by the editor at sub-edit stage. If the two readings disagree, we re-check live before publishing.
Independence from operators
Operators do not pre-approve any content on this site. Operators cannot pay to raise a score, suppress a negative line, or move up the comparison tables. Commercial deals are commission-only (we are paid when a reader signs up and plays). We have refused display-ad placements that came with editorial strings attached. In practice this independence shows up as published negatives: look at any review on this site and you will find at least one line explaining what the operator does badly — that line is the test, not the lede.
Sponsored content
We do not publish sponsored content on this site. Every review page you see here is independent editorial work. If that ever changes — say, we agree to carry a labelled advertorial on a sister property — we will set it apart with a visible SPONSORED banner at the top, below the H1 and above the first paragraph, no exceptions. Advertorial content would also carry a dedicated byline (SPONSORED CONTENT rather than the usual author byline) and would not be indexable in Google under the review schema. None of this is in effect today.
